| The Parish Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Mętków was erected in 1771. It was moved to its current location in 1972-74, and consecrated on 1 May 1974 by the then Metropolitan of Kraków, Cardinal Karol Wojtyła, who in 1948-49 was still fulfilling the function of curate in Niegowić. The Parish of Mętków was formed in 1982. The baroque, three-nave church was built to a hall-church layout using larch wood. The church fittings include baroque altars: the main altar has an image of Our Lady of Częstochowa while the two side altars have paintings of The Sacred Heart and St. Anne of Samothrace. |
