| The Greek Catholic Parish Church of St. Cosmas and St. Damian in Milik (currently a Roman Catholic Parish Church) arose in 1813 on the site of a previous church, destroyed by a flood. The West Lemko style church was erected using log construction and shingled walls. The ornamental polychrome work was carried out in 1930. The fittings include: a rococo-classical iconostasis (screen with icons) from 1806, an altar with a painting of Madonna with Child (in the north chapel), and a number of interesting icons on the walls, including: an C18th Pieta, The Mourning of Christ from around 1700 and The Holy Trinity. |
