| St. Catherine’s Parish Church in Wilkowisko, built in 1923-27, is already the third church on this site and was modelled on the previous church which burnt down in 1916. It is a log-construction building with vertical boarding. The church interior is covered by panelling. Above the nave and chancel you can see false coffered vaulting, supported on decorated lancet-arch arcades. The fittings, partially baroque and partially modelled on the baroque, were produced in the C20th. The C18th late-baroque main altar with a depiction of the church’s patron saint was transferred from a church in Limanowa. |
