The Sącz Ethnographic Park, a branch of the District Museum in Nowy Sącz, is an exhibition of Sącz country building styles from the end of the C19th and the beginning of the C20th. It consists of around 70 peasant buildings (dwellings, farm buildings and village workshops), furnished with traditional utensils, brought from different locations in the Sącz region. It displays the folk culture of the Lendians, Pogorzans, Gorals, Lemkos, Carpathian Romanies and German colonists. Apart from peasant building you can also see a folk school, a gentry manor house from the beginning of the C17th, a Roman Catholic Church, an C18th Greek Catholic Church and an Evangelical Church from the beginning of the C19th. |
